ASSEMBLY

Assembly is a 40sqm office project. A growth hacking lab designed for ideas, content creation and execution. A contrast of dark and bright spaces draws people through the entrance into the work space. The relatively darker and more ambient entrance serves to be a buffer between the circulation passageway and the work space. The glass entrance was deliberately set in to create an embrace to welcome visitors into the space from the main circulation passageway.  Materials and ambient lighting flows from the interior out, allowing the office to feel bigger, freer and unbounded by walls. 

Segmenting the narrow and deep unit into 3 zones allows the space to appear more dynamic. The three zones are: Meeting, Work and Break out. Each zone adopts a different ambient with the use of light and colors.  Zones are squarish on plan, maximizing space for use. Carpets were selected at the meeting zone and the call booths in the breakout zone where conversation takes place, cushioning the sound. White lights and a magnetic whiteboard paint wall was installed at the work zone. A celebrated space designed for idea creation and increased mental dexterity. Closed shelves storage are tucked right at the end of the unit in the breakout zone, reducing clutter. A simple pantry seats 2 in the breakout zone. 

The project is a symphony of requirements coming together, completed by the lighting design and with fengshui inputs.
